Monday Afternoon Session

Exhibition Reception

- Displayed here is one the many information boards that hang around the exhibition with key information on McGee, this one details McGee’s assassination in 1868 along with a wanted poster for McGee with a reward sum of $2000
- Both the Irish and Canadian flags are on display
- As McGee was shot in the head when assassinated, the traditional death mask could not be made, so a cast of his hand was made instead. This is one of only three in existence. Also pictured is a postage stamp featuring McGee.
