On display here is Jeremiah O’Donovan Rossa’s Pipe and a book entitled Life of John Mitchel by William Dillon
Displayed here is one the many information boards that hang around the exhibition with key information on McGee, this one details McGee’s assassination in 1868 along with a wanted poster for McGee with a reward sum of $2000
Both the Irish and Canadian flags are on display
As McGee was shot in the head when assassinated, the traditional death mask could not be made, so a cast of his hand was made instead. This is one of only three in existence. Also pictured is a postage stamp featuring McGee.
A book written by McGee entitled The History of Ireland – From the earliest period to the emigration of the Catholics.
